Clonmany is steeped in ancient history and it's location of many local beauty spots. With views of the Wild Atlantic which will take your breath away, it is only a short distance to the village of Ballyliffin and it's world class golf course and surfing. But there's plenty of activities to keep you busy from pony-trekking to hill walking, or the Clonmany Show & Festival, which draws crowds from all corners of the country to explore the local heritage, and of course, singing, dancing and lots of craic in the local village pubs.

The home of one of Ireland's longest-running summer festivals, Clonmany comes alive in July for this year's 50th Annual Clonmany Festival. The stars of Irish country music descend on the village for a full week of outdoor concerts with all the singing and dancing to keep you entertained on your break, and don't miss the Clonmany Agricultural Show on the first Tuesday of the festival!

There are lots of sights to take in, from the beautiful Glenevin Waterfall, the natural blowhole at Castles next to the Isle of Doagh, to the stunning views over the Atlantic coastline. Due to it's location, it's also an excellent location from which to view the Northern Lights, and there are lots of hiking routes mapped out to allow you to take it all in.
